Our Landing Craft Assists with Oil Spill Cleanup

In response to the tragic BP oil spill disaster in the Gulf, there has been a huge demand for durable aluminum vessels by cleanup contractors and government agencies.

A rugged design, hydraulically operated ramp and on-board crane combined with plenty of deck space and a low draft made this 32’ Landing Craft ideal for the task at hand. The vessel is also compliant with US Coast Guard and Department of Transport regulations.

We have previously built custom aluminum Landing Crafts, ranging from 28’ to 42’, and are currently in the process of building another 32’ in our shop. They are well suited for transporting supplies, equipment and vehicles to remote locations.
